I-control provides a central control pad through which users may give commands and receive visual backlit-icon alerts regarding the statuses of the shredder's bin, oil needs, etc., adding to the user-friendliness of this model

The EcoLogic function allows the user to program the machine to go into sleep mode after any period of inactivity, thus eliminating repercussions of forgetting to power down the shredder at the end of the day

DLS further adds to the user-friendliness of this model by cuing either green, yellow, or red lights while material is being fed into the shredder to signal whether the volume of material threatens the performance of the shredder or not.
